We’re honoured to welcome Sabnum Dharamsi, co-founder of Islamic Counselling, who developed its theoretical model, practice and accredited curriculum based on sacred and timeless ways of being.

In Sabnum’s own words: “Many years ago I realised that Islam has profound wisdom around the self, so much power and light that can help us to unblock ourselves and move through difficult times without losing hope. I wanted to foster a culture of non-judgement so people could come forward without fear of blame.”

Sabnum is an international speaker, supervisor for Muslim Youth Helpline, and author including a regular column for Thresholds, the spiritual journal of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Her experience includes working in the addictions field, youth counselling and university counselling, in the corporate sector and with local government in the fields of education and public health. She has worked with clients, community organisations, and scholars around the globe.

Join us as Sabnum shares her deep insights on how we can heal through heart-centred Islamic Counselling.
